I don't want our best player coming off the bench as depth. I want him on the field making plays and impacting the ball game.

Are you really criticizing an 18 on public speaking after his first college press conference? How many times did you have to speak to the media on your life, let alone as a college student?

As much as we can and do rotate our DL, I don't think it matters, especially at DT. Man this kid is GOOD! How many times ha e you seen a true frosh come in at DT, first college game, and look dominant at times. Most of the time they are not physically ready or has not grasped enough to be thrown into the mix. Both Wilkins, last year and Big Dex this year were ready DAY 1. Amazing!
My 16 yo daughter was watching the game with me. When Dex got off the line and showed how fast his first 5 steps are, she was blown away. She goes "guys that size can't move like that, it's just not fair"! We both shook our heads in disbelief. I watched all of his HS high lights and of course he looked quick against HS kids. But to look that quick at the top of the college level, in game 1, is amazing.
I find it ironic that during the press conference, there is a pic behind him of #66.
