Have to give a SHOUT to my nephew - chose Clemson!

Had a call last night from my brother in Charlotte. His son (nephew Paul) has decided his college choice is CU!

Super bright kid who will graduate in a few weeks with a 4.0. He's known for almost 3 years he wants to go for a B.S. in computer science (eventually a PhD), & had been accepted at GaTech, UVA, George Mason & Clemson. So glad he'll continue a 4-generation family run of Clemson folks!

Great thing too - he'll start CU in Jan 2020. Meanwhile, he's been offered a job with an IT firm in Knoxville from mid-June 'til early Dec for some real world experience.

Congrats to Paul for his hard work & decision to be another Clemson man!

Tough decision for sure...but hard to ignore GT for that particular major. Sounds like a bright kid so anywhere he goes he should do fine.

Yeah, I hope the kid is happy at Clemson (I certainly was), but even as a Clemson alum, I'd be hard-pressed to turn down Georgia Tech and UVA in that situation. They're just better schools for that.
