Military Appreciation Day

Let me start off by saying that I married the most amazing woman and what she did for me, left me speechless. I am an Active Duty F/A-18 mechanic in the Navy. I've been in the Navy going on 16 years now and I'm coming up on my final re-enlistment in a few short months that will carry me to retirement at 20 years. So, long story short she contacted the Clemson Athletic Dept. to see about doing my final re-enlistment at the top of The Hill next to Howard's Rock on military appreciation day. Absolutely blown away when she told me. Extremely excited!!!

First of all, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service. I am just in awe of the brave men and women willing to make the sacrifice to serve our country bravely and with honor. Secondly, what a wonderful way for all the Clemson family to help you celebrate Military Appreciation Day! I am very blessed and thankful to know I will be there to see it. That day is so very special in Clemson and will absolutely take your breath. Thank you again for your service to help keep us all free. Can't wait for Military Appreciation Day, now! Go Tigers!
