or perhaps tried a different profession entirely rather than pretend to be something he wasn't. But she went on to say that he is a very fine man and probably would have been a very good pastor.

To be honest, she probably knows more about football than Tommy knows about being Secretary of State. I think Rice's inclusion on this committee is to purposely bring a voice outside the college football community. Someone with a different perspective. It's often done on business committees.
