A Tiger, and a coach of Tigers, for at least 9 more games plus whatever tourneys.

He's also got a team tied for #6,7,8,9,10 in conference in spite of looking very bad in 2 of losses.

Have you called Tony Bennett a loser yet based on this year's results? Of course not. I bet a national championship gets him 1 year of grace before you diss him.

Uh, National Championship is the trump card. He gets years with that thing. Btw, they are 14-8. We would be dancing in the streets with that record.

That's my point.

Similar hard-to-appreciate defensive style, this year similar results--so far, they're underachieving and at best a bubble team with 3 games left to improve their tournament resume, assuming they don't get tripped up by us or someone like us.

With his returning talent, Brownell would be 14-8, too.

Bennett won the ACC 4 out of the last 6 years. It isn't like the National Championship was a flash in the pan accomplishment.
