They have senior leadership. If our guys stick together we will be a senior lead team in a few years. I also think it helps them that unc and others are a little down this year. We always seem to have a decent team when Unc and Duke are at their best.

It's all about coaching. I go to a lot of UM games, and just last year they had nobody at their games, and their arena is not that nice, proboly the worst in the ACC. Bad news is i am going to the Clemson game there game in a couple of weeks.

metropolitan area with a lot of attractions. Hard to argue with that.
Clemson, SC simply isn't the typical preferred destination for most elite bball players. They gangstas, you know.
Flame me for that. Go ahead.

Ga Tech has had a LOT more success in bball than we have. Seriously? All they would need to do is make the requisite commitment. Hire a Pitino-type coach and build the best facilities in the country and the rest would be history.

in the past 10 years. Their problem is they haven't had a good coach or else they would have been super dangerous. I mean they played for a national title 8 years ago. Even a few years ago they should have been final four with the talent they had, except Hewitt wasn't good enough to keep them on the same page
The guy may or may not be right about recruiting and big cities, but using GT is a terrible example in my opinion.

all of that. We had solid teams under OP. He was a good coach, but for whatever reason struggled during tournament time. Our younger players seems strong, but it's up to Brownell to make them a team next year. If next year is more of the same, it will be time to move on.
Clemson is a tough place to win at after the expansion. It's cool though. We can celebrate ACC championships like we won them. I hear there's enjoyment in that with respect to football so why not basketball?

I love Clemson as much as the next guy, and wouldn't change choosing to get my education there for the world....but let's be honest. Outside of the university itself, the towns surrounding campus are meth-ville.
