I don't NFL, but it seems to me that having former coots on your team is like a cancer to the team. The attitude they bring can be devastating to a team IMO. Even Deebo showed how self-absorbed he is, and he was their ONLY good player last year. Without him, they were exposed by a weak team. He chose to let them down. The NFL team that got him will face the same problem that the Texans have with Clowney. It's just a matter of time.

Texans fan here.

No way they should ever pay Clowney the big bucks. Whoever does will regret it.

Getting a stud tackle in a trade would be a dream scenario for me. Pass protection is the one and only thing preventing DW4 from being an MVP candidate. He is the most overlooked player in the NFL.

When he has time to throw, his stats are ridiculous.

I know he's a LT but Trent Williams should be the first target since he wants to move on.

Pretty sure LT is what they're going for.

No sense in shopping Clowney for a RT when the left is Watson's blind side.

Miami has no RT to trade, and is not interested in Clooney. I am hearing Redskins for Trent Williams.

As another ‘Skins fan, it does unfortunately sound like something Snyder would push for a la Albert Haynesworth.

Makes sense that Missing In Action would be first in line to

replace Clownhead. That has been his pattern throughout his career, as soon as he gets what he wants.

I'll take a RT or LT. Texans need help on both ends.

Watching DW4 with the Texans, the LT vs RT thing is way overrated. I'd probably prefer a LT but upgrading either would be huge.

If the Redskins actually want Clowney, Trent Williams would be perfect. Wish he was a bit younger though.

Let them shop around for a new head coach while they are at it. The guy is clueless.

Jr year was a joke. He knew his draft status was high and he barely showed up. And Spurrier allowed it because he was mentally checking out by then, too. The got a reputation that way exceeded his 'want to' because of that stupid hit in the Mich game when he was basically unblocked. Clowney only shows up when he absolutely has to and even then, he's lazy. He was the best HS defender I ever saw. Didn't take too long to realize his heart nowhere near matched his ability.
