Clemson's winning percentage in National Championship games is unreal

Feb 2, 2019, 9:49 PM

Think about it, unless I am wrong, their winning percentage is .750. Been to championship games 4 times and have won 3. 1981, lost 2015, won 2016, and 2018. Didn't make championship game in 2018.

Should have also stated that had it not been for that on-side kick or the run back for a TD,they would be sitting at a perfect 1.000. How great would that be

It's funny, in '82 UGA knew they were winning the natty

They knew Nebraska would beat Clemson and with them being the defending champions and going into the Sugar Bowl ranked #2 against #8 Pitt, that the title was all theirs. Dan Marino had other plans.
