Clemson vs Notre Dame

So if it comes down to an undefeated ND and Clemson for the last spot in the playoffs, will the score of the three common opponent be the deciding factor or would Clemson’s conference championship be the key factor?

If I learned anything today, it's that we'll almost certainly be playing them in the ACCCG. The winner gets in, the loser goes home - that problem will work itself out in December.

Notre Dame is not an ACC football team. Clemson would play VaTech or Miami.

Pretty sure if ND is a top 5 CFP committee team at the time, then ND takes the place of the lower ranked division champion. So unless ND implodes, they will take VT or Miami's spot in ACCCG.
