I agree, Stanford is missing, suspect they would be #4.

Don't see Indiana either. Are they good this year? Aren't they always?

No. 4 is Akron,
No. 8 is Stanford,
No. 12 is Creighton, and
No. 16 is Indiana

I guessed two of the four missing teams though. Give me some credit. Though I thought Stanford would be #4.
I watched UCSB lose badly to Akron at home earlier this year. But they did beat Stanford (home) and UCLA (away). So if UCSB advances and Clemson advances this weekend, Clemson should beat them if they play well. I say this because UCSB goalie is a freshman and the coach's son. He is tall and gangly and makes some poor choices. Pretty inconsistent in how he reacts to attacks. He will not keep a clean sheet. Diego Campos and company should be able to take advantage of the fact that he gets out of position a lot.

Yes, that would be a good rematch.

Clemson needs to learn to play against a physically aggressive team.
Ref let Syracuse play and they got away with a lot of holding against our guys. They weren't able to rise above and let it affect their play.
Clemson is very much a finesse team. Will be fun to watch it play out. Suspect teams they face will try Syracuse formula and be overly aggressive. Will depend if ref lets them play that way and/or if Noonan has figured out how to get the guys to play above that.

What about the women's soccer team. Did they get an NCAA invite?

What's a Hartwick ? We play the winner of Elon/Furman ?
It is just odd that tiny , never-heardovems can compete with the big boys in the sport of soccer .

only SC and Kentucky have it in the SEC. Nobody in the Big 12 has it. It's mainly a west and east coast dominated sport in men's soccer

Maybe I just don't understand soccer....nor do I really care to.

Maybe we did better in OOC than the 2nd seed in the ACC T.
