Clemson makes late offer to QB, per KornCOOT

Clemson is not giving up on trying to sign a quarterback for this class. After apparently missing on Asiantii Woulard of Winter Park, FL who is expected to sign with UCLA, the Tigers have offered Arizona State commitment Josh Dobbs of Alpharetta, GA according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Dobbs coach told the paper Clemson recruiters Tony Elliott and Jeff Scott were by the the school earlier this week and are trying to get Dobbs in for a visit this weekend. Tennessee also has offered Dobbs late and is trying to get in the picture. Dobbs passed for 3265 yards and 29 touchdowns with 11 interceptions last season. He committed to Arizona State in June. At the time he also had offers from Duke, Boston College, Yale, Princeton and Illinois.

Interesting that he says we "missed" on him when all signs pointed to him coming to Clemson until our staff stop pursuing him.
