Clemson is like no other

It was before Dabo arrived, and it will be after Dabo leaves. Dabo is an all-time great at recruiting and motivating. And then there are weeks like this week when most of the coaches and players took the week off. Clemson is loaded with talent. The best DB talent is young, making mistakes and growing. The best QB talent is young and not playing.

The concern this year is did Dabo win the natl championship or did D. Watson? The answer is both. And now one is lighting up the NFL, and Clemson just lost to one of the worst Power 5 teams in the country. Clemson will bounce back of course. But are we playoff-caliber with a one-dimensional QB run and short pass offense? My take is no. I hope I'm wrong. And while I will always love and pull for my alma mater, the greatest university in the USA, I remain clear-minded and cursed with objectivity about this year's prospects. Go Tigers!
