SEC is the solution...

Clemson moving to the sec will fix all our problems. Sure at first we probly won't have a 10 win season for awhile but that won't matter. ESPN will automatically fall in love with us and put us in top 10. We can never win our division and constantly remind ppl we are in the sec so we're automatically elite jus like the yard birds in Columbia

Do we really have to read this BS again? Some people act like we can just snap our fingers and join any conference we feel like. Time to move on.

You need to get over it...

It's never going happen. USC has all the television sets in the state locked down. Bringing Clemson in does absolutely nothing from a television revenue standpoint. From a recruiting standpoint, it hurts current members such as USC, Georgia, and Teneessee. If (and when) the SEC goes to 16 teams, their short list will be Texas, OU, UNC, NC State, Va Tech, Virginia, and *possibly* FSU. I think FSU is the only other school that would have a chance just because of their brand and their effect on television ratings. Clemson is not on the list.

Clemson brings more everything than SCAR...the only reason SCAR got in was timing. They in the market and we werent...doesnt make geographical sense to add us...but then again, Vanderbilt/Tenn, Miss/Miss St, and Aub/Bama dont make sense either...neither will Fla St.

You what? What do you bring more of? In footbaall you have one tainted title from 1981 then you were hit with the most ncaa violations ever in 1982.
Carolina has a larger university, larger fan base, larger alumni base, larger student population. Lies within the Capital of the state. Carolina has more money, better facilities, a more diversified student body, better schools of higher education. Carolina far exceeds that of Clemson.

#1: Clemson is a better school than SCar. Really not debatable. Check any statistics or rankings you want. We're better. SCar has a med school and law school because it is the flagship university of the state, not because it's better. Clemson is better.
#2: Clemson is the better football program. Also not debatable. Clemson has 658 wins and 16 bowl wins. SCar has 555 wins and 5 bowl wins. Clemson has a national title. Clemson is better.
The point is this: If the SEC could do it all over again, the following schools probably would not be members:
South Carolina Mississippi State or Mississippi
The SEC would have asked Clemson to join and one of NC State or Va Tech.

Let them keep thinking what they want; a fan base in denial.

South Carolina?
That's what it's all about. Here's what you aren't getting. By having South Carolina in the SEC, they know that they are already getting all the Gamecock AND Tiger fan TV sets in the state.

Yes, exactly right. Some people on here can't comprehend that. The SEC has South Carolina covered, they don't need Clemson.
