than anything 40 yards or closer should be automatic for a scholarship kicker at the collegiate level.

Potter has missed one kick from the 30 - 39 range (which is unacceptable) and two kicks from the 40 to 49 range. He has a season long of 51 yards.

His is 100% on PATs.

the field for Potter on field goals, his percentage would probably go up. But, if we had that kind of pinpoint execution, we probably would have made the first down. :)

kickoffs, FG's and PAT's.

He has excelled at two of the three.

I believe his FG percentage will improve. Distance isn't the issue for him. It's accuracy.

Even NFL kickers occasionally miss 30-39 yarders

It shouldn't happen often but It does happen. There are also alot of really bad scholarship kickers in CFB.

Well one of his misses I blame on the snap. Swinney had to stand up to catch the snap and get back down to hold the ball. That will throw off any kickers timing and rhythm. His other two misses he shanked them left. So it’s not all bad.

consistent on FG's. Its kinda like a long drive competitor trying to take a little off his swing in order to place the ball on a particular side of the fairway. Its one or the other usually.Boom or bust. Catanzaro never really banged them through the endzone on kickoffs but most of his FGS were straight

We beat everyone we play by about 34 points.

I can't imagine it will matter come playoff time.

Playoff time is when we usually win by 28.
