with Rivers and Olgesby gone, but this team will be fun to watch this year. We will get out share of wins. It'll be a battle for a top 3 or 4 finish though, but it should be a fun season.

...and the refs bound and determined not to foul out Hayward unless he took a chainsaw to someone, I really feel this was a "growing up" game for the guys.
Still a fair amount of work to do on help-side defense, recognizing opportunities on offense and general team work with everyone sagging on Booker, but with 4 freshmen, that was to be expected.
I didn't harbor hope for a championship out west. I did hope to see us perform well against ranked foes, and we got that.
I hope we can give the guys a hero's welcome this week in Littlejohn against Illinois.

during the A & M game did yo uget the impression that when Clemwon got up 7-1, the officiating suddenly changed.
So there is no misunderstanding, I am not blaming the loss on officiating, but it was nearly eight minutes into the game before A & M got called for its first foul while A & M was one foul away from being in the bonus.

two CU defenders....two charges....and they call a block on the second one....
Then at the other end they call a charge when it is a clear blocking.
Teh refs were consistently horrible throughout the tourney....atleast from what I saw.
