Clemson doesn't take receiver's pledge, per KornCOOT

Feb 27, 2013, 12:46 PM

By Phil Kornblut

WR Jacob McCrary of Miami announced on Twitter Tuesday night a commitment to Clemson. "It's official I'm a tiger #tigernation #Clemson bound" McCrary tweeted including a picture of himself in a Clemson uniform and helmet inside the Clemson lockerroom. However, as of Tuesday night, Clemson had not accepted his commitment. McCrary has not tweeted anything further about the commitment. Clemson was the first school to offer McCrary who has had Clemson at the top of his list. He attended the Tigers' junior day earlier this month. He's also had Florida State, Arkansas and West Virginia in his top four.

Well, not to pick a fight, but if corncoot said it, it either is completely wrong, partially wrong or a danged luck guess by him. I have found much inaccuracy in his predictions. His coot bias trumps his "credibility". IMO

Yeah, what a negative sounding spin. Typical...***

with USC (I'm serious). When he tells you something, you had better shake it out.

If this is true, it would not surprise me. This kid stated he wanted to take his officials. Dabo has said in the past that if you are commetted, you won't look around. It wouldn't surprise me if Dabo told him he couldn't look around if he commited and the kid changed his mind.

Good for Dabo! When the young man is certain, then he should commit.

Agree...

With the shenanigans experienced by the kid who flip flopped after committing to both us and Florida as well as the RD thing, I'd be hesitant to take his commitment too. I understand that a kid may change their mind, but the word commitment should mean something.
