Clemson did rise in the Coaches' Poll...

If you look at total votes, not rank.

Keep in mind that no one above Clemson last week lost...usually that is the biggest source of vote gains. Clemson definitely took votes away from MSU and LSU.

Vote difference between Week 9 and Week 8:

Ohio State +10
Baylor 0
TCU +1
Michigan St. -4
LSU -21
Clemson +52

How do those point values get distributed?

Does each voter have 1000 or something? Or is it like 'being ranked first gets you 100, 2nd get 90, etc'

Yes some are forgetting that we were already above Utah in this poll. And the Coaches seem to be using the BCS era system of win an move up.

Polls mean NOTHING right now. We keep winning, we'll be in the playoff, plain and simple.
