is to hold the ACC together until media delivery methods (menu-based programming over cable/dish) change and our programming value isn't tied solely (foolishly, I think) to our market area. Those days may not be too far in the future.
If we left the ACC now, we'd only be able to go to the Big XII, a collection of sub-par schools on the wrong side of the Mississippi River. That would bring UNC and VT to the SEC, and guess what, they'd never expand again and we'd forever be stuck in the Big XII.
I'm not happy about this, but I think it stabilizes the ACC for another 5-10 yrs. I'm not aware of another way to have stabilized the conference. Hopefully our value will rise in the interim. We need to win big over that time frame - then and only then will the SEC be a possibility.

is where we belong. I've been saying it for 20 years. We're a football school stuck in a basketball conference controlled by a bunch of snotty North Carolinians. And we're falling behind our instate rivals b/c of it. This will not do...

Clemson to the sec would be the worst thing that we could do. No way anybody would go undefeated and win a NC, better chance of doing that in the ACC. And no sec team wants to add 2 heavy wieghts like fsu and clemson, they would prefer some light weights like Mizzo.

nothing would make me happier to see clemson in the SEC. shut up all the people who dont believe in us period. Best conference, would bring in best recruits and so on.... GO TIGERS!
