Has anyone heard anything about Barker's successor? Last I heard they were trying to have the process wrapped up by the end of August. They must be having a rough go finding the right fit for Clemson.

I have heard they are down to 3-4 finalists, but they are keeping things TOP SECRET.

People on the inside know very little.

An email was sent to students earlier in the semester saying that they had narrowed down the list of candidates, but they would not be releasing names until they had a list of finalists. I could be wrong, but I think they said the plan was to make a public announcement of who the finalists are by the end of the semester.

Is Wilkins allowed to serve a President based on his lack of a PhD in his field of study at the university (since presidents are supposed to carry the highest degree awarded in their field of study)?

R.C. Edwards did not have an earned Doctoral Degree.
His degree was honorary. I hope we find a president who serves Clemson as well as Dr. Edwards did.
