Clemson National Championship shirts / hoodies fit?

I heard the Nike locker room t-shirts were tighter fit? Shoulders or waist?

I am 6 feet, 185lbs, so I usually go XL if I want a little extra shoulder room / more relaxed fit.

But I heard the Nike locker room "hoodies" / sweatshirts were true to size.
I know they are polyester, and more expensive. I usually wear mine over another shirt.
