· The Tigers return nine starters from the 2017 squad, including senior defender Sam Staab and sophomore forward Mariana Speckmaier, who each earned All-ACC honors a season ago.

· Head coach Eddie Radwanski is entering his eighth season at the helm of the Clemson program. In 2016, Radwanski was named ACC Coach of the Year after leading his squad to an ACC regular season title.

· Starting keeper Sandy MacIver has yet to join the Tigers this season, as she has been competing with England’s National Team in the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in France. The Young Lionesses made history as they defeated the Netherlands 2-1 to advance to the country’s first-ever U20 Women’s World Cup semifinal.

· MacIver and South Carolina’s Grace Fisk, junior starting defender, will be playing in the third-place match on Friday against host country France.

South Carolina Notes:

Come on Lady Tigers, beat the lady c0cks!

Aug 22, 2018, 5:20 PM

Our women's athletic teams have been the main reason we have not won the Palmetto Series.

Now granted, I would much rather beat the coots in football, men's basketball, men's soccer, and baseball than anything else, but I'd like to beat them in every contest.

Pick it up ladies!
