One of the biggest let downs in Clemson golf history. I thought coach Penly was going to get our guys ready to play in this NCAA Tournament. Very dissappointing from a fan's perspective. I thought we should be at least somewhere in the final top ten.

Come on guys, I have been following college golf and Clemson for a long time. Yes, there is no doubt that they didn't finish the way they wanted to; however, a little harsh in the comments. Penley being fired, come on!! The Tigers are ranked 14th in both Golfstat and Golfweek. They had a pretty darn good season and except for a 5 hole stretch where right there in the top 8 with a chance to win a championship. Men's golf is extremely competetive nowadays and very deep. Coach Penley has done a wonderful job of keeping this team competitive and still playing well.
