I love the OP lost 3 NCAA games crowd but Brownell(a better x and o coach) can't even get us consistently to the NIT. That's crazy!

Until we stumble across someone who is able to do that, it won't matter who we get. They will have an uphill battle recruiting, and playing against teams that can recruit. How can we hire a top coach who has the option to go to a NCAA tournament team? We have to keep getting coaches from lower schools till one works magic. I wish the AD would be quicker to replace what seems to be good coaches to increase our chances of getting that one that can get it done. Then we could recruit, and hire who we wanted, like Kentucky and NC.

Really a shame that an athletic dept can't hire uP & decide to put greater $ in a pretty sorry program when compared to FB & some other sports at Clemson.
My Tar Heel friends think we sux bad and brag that their FB program is way better than our BB program..and their BB program & our FB program are about even Now but over the years even our FB hasn't equaled their BB program.
