the 2016 game against FSU was HUGE. You also have to consider the 2017 games against Auburn, Louisville and VT, as well as the 2018 and 2019 games against A&M.

There was tremendous urgency surrounding that 2016 Louisville game, given: 1.) The way the National Champisonhip at the end of the 2015 season went down 2.) The reality that it was Deshaun's last season 3.) That we had not one a national championship since 1981 4.) That the polls had Lousville at #3, ahead of us at #5, which felt like a slight given what we had accomplished in 2015.
To me, the Lousiville game just felt much bigger than this Miami game. That 2016 Clemson team felt hungrier, IMO. This team seems to be very concerned about things other than football.

Most hyped....yeah, I'd agree with that.

Only history will give us its relevance in the national scheme of things. Until Miami can shake that habit of going south at the first sign of trouble, I'm not buying in.
And they are going to see a lot of trouble from you guys is my guess.

I’m not buying Miami hype until proven otherwise. For the sake of the League, however, I hope it’s a competitive game.

Deshaun vs Lamer was bigger, and was in 2016. So NO.
