Clein Ferrell

I know he redshirt ed this year but came in ranked just as high as Austin Bryant. Anyone know how he is coming along? He will be counted on next year with Dodd and Lawson bolting

He probably could have played this year but I think he hurt is hand in the spring and it was in a cast and that also set him back a bit. The coaches decided to hold him to ensure he was fully healthy. He'll be a beast. he was higher rated then Bryant and was much faster off the LOS. I think he's the future at WDE and Bryant the future at SDE

Looking forward to seeing him at Spring Practice. We've got some talented defensive ends. Xavier Kelly should get early PT also

Don't forget Lasamuel Davis, I think he is going to be a great edge rusher

Davis needs to put on weight. He has good speed. Ferrell will be a force.

Ferrell also tore his ACL in his last HS game and we are giving him plenty time to heal and build strength. He will be really good if he stays healthy

I remember them saying he was around 265 now.. he's 6'6 very fast first step. They were going to use him this year but he got hurt. So they felt they had enough depth with Shaq, Dodd, Yeargin and Bryant to be used at DE. But he will be in the fold next year. He and Chris Register.
