the sr will be gone. It is more important to get them with guys closer to their age and have just experienced that first year. An 18 or 19 year old can relate to another 18 or 19 yr old much better. Big difference in 21 and 18 yrs old. The very talented player that has just gone thru their first season can really tell a recruit just how they can do the same thing in a year rather than 4-5 yrs. Gotta get it straight from the horse's mouth.
And, not sure if you have heard of them or not, but there is this thing called cell phones that let you get numbers from someone you meet and,,,,,,text, talk or facetime anytime you want. Pretty cool thing. And if you don't think the recruits, especially the top ones, don't reach out to each other and get to know each other on the recruiting road, at camps and all the all-star games they play in....well, not much to say to you. The will try to find out from each other where they are going and try to talk others into going to the same school.
