Are calling our game? Wth? While this is in no way a Beth Mowins level slight by ESPN, I'm hoping I heard that wrong.

Right Sean McDonough. He is a Syracuse alum and is getting an award so they let him do this game.

Sean McDonough and Herbie will be in the booth and Maria Taylor will be on the sidelines. Fowler and McDonough switched today because McDonough is a Syracuse grad and will be honored for something at the game tonight.

She thought it necessary to use her platform to support Kelly B’s whining that he was dissed by Clemson, including his stupid “slap in the face” comment.

I'd take Boeheim on play by play over Mowins

Maria Taylor in small doses on the sideline doesn't bother me. Call me old fashioned, not a big fan of wimmens in the announcer's booth.

Old fashioned isn’t the right phrase. I’d say the correct phrase is piece of ####. Does it suck to feel emasculated that they know more about football than you?

Women can call and announce any game they participated in at the level they are working. This includes baseball/softball, soccer, basketball, rowing, gymnastics, figure skating, hockey and etc.
Football is not one their sports, but, it is a coming.

Can a man call and announce games he personally did not participate in?
Let's be consistent.

A piece of sh!t might be too strong but sexist fits.
The day we worry less about a persons sex, race, religion etc. and worry more about weather a person can do the job, we will be better off as a nation.
My 2 cents.
Go a Tigers!

Simply stating my opinion and preference. I want to know that whatever "professional" that I'm forced to deal with actually has experience in that field. As the father of a grown daughter, I'm all about women's rights. The "wimmens" comment was said partially in jest, but I in fact believe men and women weren't created the same (I didn't say equal!) and shouldn't be treated as such. Each gender has certain unique qualities that should be celebrated. A man can study all he wants about giving birth, but in the end, he has no more idea what it feels like than I do. Every person has their own preferences, and that's ok. Heck, I love soccer but I don't want to hear an American commentator calling a Premier league game ??

No man has a clue about what childbirth is like.
A woman can understand the game of football just as easily as a man who hasn't played.
Can you comprehend the difference between these two concepts?
For the record, I agree the genders differ from each other, greatly. To think otherwise is foolhardy. But the reasoning you present for not liking female announcers falls under the "just wow" category in my view.
To each his own opinion. Free country.
