Some people may think Spurrier is a genius for his little 4 game winning streak. He CANT beat us on a short week. Thats already been proven. He is now 6-5 against us. We need to start doing the same thing, taking a bye week or scheduling cup cake teams before we play USUC. Spurrier talks crap, but after getting his head kicked in 5 out of his 1st 6 meetings. He made changes that gives him a huge advantage.

ACC= All Cupcake Conference? Y'all couldn't win it trust me...Y'all would find a way to F**K it up. Just think... If you beat UF, you would be were the Bulldogs are now, but.... you couldn't do it. But...but...but we're in the Sec blah blah blah....CRAP! Y'all beat your two big rivals and got ten wins and still looking at yet another Outback Bowl. Maybe next year right?!

vandy, arky and ut are in the sec so that makes them better than anybody we play. Kind if like my coot co-worker told me that aTm automatically became better when they joined the sec.....pathetic. He really believes that too. So what about Mizzou....they sucked all year.... but hey!, they beat ut right?! 3/4 of the sec blows and they know it.

So you are saying that playing the mighty Wake Forest, UVA, and NC State is too much for you?
Why don't you look at the entire schedule and see which team should be worn out when they reach the rivalry game.

Now lets compare South Carolina's schedule
Vandy
ECU
UAB
MIZZOU
Kentucky
UGA
LSU
Florida
Tennessee
Arkansas
Wofford
Clemson
Now, which schedule looks more difficult? One schedule has 3 top 10 teams and a rival that was just outside the top 10. The other has 1 team in the top 25 and a rival in the top 10.

Vandy is a darn good team.
We (Wofford) are a very good team with conference championships 4 out for the past 7 years. No one should want to play us late in the season. Heck little ole Wofford put a scare into you guys last year.

i do think its a small advantage but it can also be a disadvantage imo. i really thought it might bite us this year. we came out of the wofford game feeling pretty bad about how we played. i honestly thought clemson was in a much better state of mind coming into saturday. looking back i think i was probably wrong. i think there was so much pressure to end the streak that some of yalls guys played tight. still, playing a cupcake does mean you can rest players as needed and you can be very vanilla and not show anything new you may still have stowed away.
another thing, though, is that its more of an sec decision than a usc decision. the sec has started trying to end conference schedule as early as possible. they give us that date to schedule whoever. no school would schedule a major ooc game that late unless its the rivalry. plus, with both our schools trying to rotate the small instate schools on the schedule it just makes sense to slot one there.
