Great school... but the coaching and surrounding talent are subpar. He will not have the success hes capable of if he plays for the SEC albatross that is Vanderbilt.

getting a free education and a graduate degree from Vandy would be tough to turn down; especially for someone who may not have designs on playing football professionally.

He’s thinking a future in coaching. So he should go where there’s good coaching and learn. I would think he’d want to stay as far away from Kirby as possible.

Few schools with great talent AND great coaching are looking for a starting QB.
UGA comes the closest and they most likely have their guy.

If he is also looking at a future in coaching, maybe he should try Mississippi State. Mike Leach would definitely give him another extreme of coaching to work under,

If he thinks he has a shot at the NFL:
The NFL doesn't care about the team record.
All they care about is seeing successful throws against good defenses.
Vandy may be a great spot for that.

I think CB is smart enough to pick a school that is high on his Graduate Degree Goals as well. Injury avoidance is also important. If would pick GT, Duke,Vandy or Stanford depending on who has the best O Line good offensive line if offered. You get a lot of TV exposure, good education and you earn your two year scholarship with only 24 games.
