I'm watching the Braves game in SD and they just showed Charlie and Phillip Rivers sitting together watching the game. Of course, they didn't even mention Charlie.

He still is a member of that same team, and he certainly is worthy of mention, even if he isn't the starter. At any given moment he could be the starter. Take a look at Joe Theisman's injury. It could happen in the blink of an eye, and if it did, CW would be just fine in that role.

He has had a long, fairly lucrative career without being a starting QB. He'll retire wealthy and still be able to walk when he's 60.
I bet the coot fans watching the Braves knew who the h3ll he was. 4-0 against the coots, including 63-17.

That's what I was trying to get at, chances are the commentators didn't even know who he was. I wasn't trying to take a shot at whitehurst, he's one of my favorite Clemson Qb's. Chances are he could start at a handful of teams.
