Chant to rattle the Winston..

Oct 14, 2013, 3:11 PM

We already know that Death Valley is going to be rocking come Saturday night and I was thinking of ways that we could rattle Winston even more than usual. I thought back to the game in 1987 when USC was beating Clemson in Williams Brice Stadium and USC fans taunted Rodney Williams by chanting, "Rodney Rodney Rodney". This really seemed to rattle him and he didnt play his best game.

My thought is that whenever Winston makes a bad play, that all of Death Valley chants "Jameis, Jameis, Jameis......". 80,000 fans chanting that would be downright eeiry and I think would rattle Winston for sure.

Thoughts?

I'd prefer not to copy the coots in anything***

I think it had more to do with the fact he was playing hurt

Oct 14, 2013, 3:15 PM

in that game....... Plus the '87 team was the best USC team to date better than the '84 team. I think the only USC teams better are the 2011, 2012, and maybe 2013 team....

Why not chant "Rodney, Rodney"?

Oct 14, 2013, 3:15 PM

You already know it works.

They were chanting "Rodney" because they couldn't spell it***

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Might be to busy cheering our boys making FSU play badly

Oct 14, 2013, 3:16 PM

Instead of hoping they implode on their own.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

We should chant "Look out behind you"

Oct 14, 2013, 3:16 PM

But it would be too late. Beasley always gets his prey.

How about this?

Oct 14, 2013, 3:20 PM

Gooooo hoooome to the war chant tune.

In '89 in Tally, we chanted 0-2 to the war chant and they went ballistic! (They had lost their opener to Brett Favre and a Southern Miss and we jumped on them early)

We won that game, and then the Seminoles won 10 straight

Pretty sure that would just sound like the warchant.

Oct 14, 2013, 3:21 PM

So it'd sound like 85,0000 FSU fans.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sure stood out at their home field in 1989

Oct 14, 2013, 3:28 PM

But whatever...just a thought

That might even put some fire under Jameis and make him play better. I'm not for the idea. But hey, I've been wrong before.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Met's fans used to chant

Oct 14, 2013, 3:40 PM

"Larry" "Larry" when Chipper Jones came to bat. Chipper had some of his best days there. Chanting "Jameis" may warm the guy up. Just bring on the Death Valley noise!

Maybe right after he throws a pick when they come back on the field chanting his name might shake that rookie, who has never heard so many people screaming at his cocky self!

No, just yell like he--.***
