times whenever a Head Coach vacancy arises, journalistic hacks froth at the mouth to create headlines by bandying about all kinds of names "interested in the job (s.)"

Thus, I give about as much credulence to these "Morris to South Carolina" yammerings, as I would to "Dabo to South Carolina" stretches.

Rather, I believe Ray Tanner will wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds with their Interim in charge, much like we did with Dabo. If it stinks, then South Carolina will more than likely go after another well-known name with a reasonable level of success under his belt as a head coach. If Elliott is successful against Vandy, the Citadel and pulls off an upset against one of the remaining, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get the nod.

Nevertheless, the most important thought on my mind is: GO TIGERS! BEAT BC!
