Why did we not take the three pts on that 4th and goal

right near the end of the game? We were up two tds the three pts would surely have sealed it? Then I can't believe Beamer went of it on 4th and 4 with 13 minutes to go in the game. That is a lot of time even if you are down 21. Coaches appear to be getting a little reckless.

How about the odds of blocking the kick and returning for a TD? Dabo made the right call. The way the D was playing I would take my chances making them go 95+ yards.

easy to lose the ball. I don't think our OL did a good job of pushing anyone, today.

until we beat them, i don't know. I do know Vt is awful ag

the run and Fla has a top 5 defense. I do not think our problems are on offense. Vt is anemic on both sides of the ball and we had less than 200 and they had 400. We won and all was fine but we have serious work to do before I am willing to say that. Considering that Fla had 200 yds rushing ag LSU and Fla had ran 29 plays for 26 yds at halftime saturday should have most concerned. This is coming from someone who would love nothing more to say "now that we beat Usuc can we please have our 5th place rings"

blocking it and that could have been the worst possible thing for us at that point in the game.

I liked the call to go for it....

yeah 3 would have sealed it, but a bad snap or block that could have been run back would have made it real close. I still have nightmares from the GT game some years ago when we had the lead and snapped the ball over the punters head late in the game and lost.

Actually less risky to go for it

Blocked FG could lead to a TD and if we didn't get the TD they had 99 yards to go and still had to score twice. Very good call whether or not we got the TD.

Because the players clearly wanted to go for it, either way your sealing the deal, what's another 4 points matter at that point anyway
