them. The mess, the constant need for attention, it all gets so tiresome.
When I grew up the dog lived outside and we went to visit him throughout the day. I think that was the correct way to do it. Now the dogs live inside with us, constantly moving, fugging with each other, and generally creating a non-relaxing atmosphere. I have to resort to my bathroom to get any sort of peace, and even then my rottie has figured out how to open doors in the house so I'm not really safe there.

dog inside. It was outside and you fed, played, and took car of it.
If it came up limping and scratched up after a gigolo run or maybe getting nicked by a car you didn't freak and take it to the vet. You petted him on the head and said it'll be aight.
We spoil them now. Me included.
