You're looking at this from the wrong angle. It's par for the course for the state. Hate them all you want, but it's better for us and the state as a whole if USC has someone as president who won't set the school back in terms of prestige in education.
Having Ray Tanner as AD has been fantastic, but having a person who has no business being a university president because our governor is too stupid to know when not to meddle in something that should be apolitical.

So now he’s accusing both The Greenville News and The Florence Morning News of lying? This won’t end well.
Remember The Greenville News got a bulldozer to dig through a Columbia landfill to get the goods on Holderman.
And yes, I realize using both the words Columbia and landfill is redundant.
