I certainly believe Carson is neither stupid, racist or hick. I do think he has caved to political expediency, a direct contradiction of what he used to preach.
Until tonight, I thought Carson was one of the few "good guys" that was in the race. Maybe I should just give up thinking any of them are good guys.

that anybody who is actually be qualified and has the character to be a great president has better sense than to WANT to be president. The modern-day media and other issues are just too overwhelming for a sane person to pursue.
So it is very likely that we'll NEVER actually have a great president ever again.

This isn't surprising at all. Carson is clearly insane and his campaign was an ACTUAL money making scam. Of course he is going to be an opportunist and jump on board.
