Has Carman Played in too many games to red-shirt?

Nov 16, 2018, 8:36 AM

I know he was a big help in the BC game, and I was reading the home page article. It made me wonder how much he has played this year. It would be great if we get an extra year out of him for red-shirt?

I don't know about an extra year

May come out after three years regardless

The definition of awesome!

I think everyone on the roster who isn't injured

or already redshirting has played in too many games at this point, considering most games the whole team gets to play.

There is no way Carman is staying for 5 years. Ergo, a redshirt year is meaningless.

After his performance on Saturday, a better question is why isn't he starting on the other side? That has been a weak point for us all season.

I was literally just thinking this exact same thing...I give Anchrum 1.5 more games and if he doesn't get that mess cleaned up I hope Jackson slides over...I know its a tall task but I think he is up to it...Cervenka has played well in place of Pollard (who also struggles)...JC gives us some options on the line now moving fwd....But the leash needs to be short especially heading into "championship phase".

Anchrum has played well except against BC. But that

wasn't completely unexpected as Zach Allen is a beast and a NFL Defensive End. Likely a first round pick who gives most RT's trouble and better than any other DE he has or will face.

Not sure what happened to Pollard, who was highly touted coming in. At this point, I'd rather see Cervenka starting at RG.
