He is struggling to gain weight. You would think, with the nutrition program and strength program, it would be pretty easy for him to get up close to 300 lbs.

Wasn't there something about a diabetes diagnosis?

If it took a while to get that diagnosed, he may have to make up for lost time.

I agree with OP. He has a great attitude. If he is just learning of his condition; he is likely going through an acceptance period and learning how to cope. Prayers for him that he can be able to manage the diabetes and be able to play football!

He lost weight down to 265lbs, that was 4-5 months ago, now 280lbs. Quozzel posted that he heard DJ could be diabetic.

I figured he was tied up with a hip or knee replacement. Sometimes you need those at 50.
