If you need the money, maybe shouldn't have purchased them in the first place. I bought my tickets to see my Tigers play, not make $ of my alma mater. I've turned down several USuC friends who've offered me similar prices and sold one extra ticket to another CU alumni at face value. I won't tell you what to do, but that's what I did.

many years ago in Greensboro as I was leaving yet another losing Clemson effort in the opening round of the ACC Tournament---he (bedecked in light blue) was standing outside the door as we exited and he ran up to me and offered to buy the rest of my tickets
I looked him straight in the eye and told him I'd eat'em and crap'em out before I sold them to a tarhole. The look of shock on his face was well worth it.

In all seriousness, you have to decide how much $800 means to you. Much depends on your personal financial situation. I spent $425 on 5 Auburn tickets in our first game and still regret doing that and not watching it on TV and still having my $425 which I could have used toward a new 50" TV.

I have been to the last 11 USC / Clemson games at Death Valley. Only once or twice did I have a ticket beforehand.
I have never even paid face for a ticket.
2 years ago we bought 2 for $20 on about 30 yard line in Section G.
4 years ago my Dad (Clemson grad) was given 2 when a guy could not sell them at all. There were hundreds of tix outside.
I would sell the tix, buy 2 before the game and pocket the difference.
