Because most folks wouldn't want a buzzard or a Tweety Bird or a skunk. That would be the only reason to settle for a chicken.

One little fella said "it's not a chicken, it's a gamecock!"
So I tossed him a dictionary and told him to look up the word gamecock.
He looked it up and said "See? It says a fighting rooster"
I told him to look up the word rooster.
He looked it up and sank in his chair..."it says 'male chicken' "

Just keeping it real.
