for over 20 years. Originally, lived in the Irmo area, then moved because of increased crime/traffic in the area. Moved to Lexington because it had a small town community feel to it, but that’s gone to s*#^ too. Go to work every morning and have panhandlers at the stoplights. They are everywhere, not just downtown. Crime has increased. Have a friend that does some contract work in the Greek village at SC. He said the vast majority of the students living there are Northerners. Said they trash everything, the houses, the yards. They take no pride in the campus or property. He spoke to a director of one of the fraternity houses and the guy said, “This place is a s^*#h*#$, and these students have no respect for anything.”
Hoping to move back to the upstate soon....
