A 10 minute drive to close the game out, ending on their goal line, for no points, by our subs. Saban knows how much worse it could have been if Dabo hadn't called the dogs off.

if it was the coots, he would have Brice scored twice and gone for two

That's true. Another key psychological event was Bama running the clock out at the half when they were behind. I found that extraordinary.

we ended the Notre Dame game, and several other games, with the ball in the red zone, choosing not to rub salt in our opponents wounds. That is true sportsmanship on our coaches' part. Our twos and threes could have scored, and in a way I wish that they had been allowed to do it. So when they talk about our average point differential, it could have been higher.

this year, partially out of class and partially to keep stuff off film. We probably could have named our score in half our games if we had gone full throttle.
