ended in defeat 155 years ago. So tell us why you support or hold in high esteem whites racists that lived over 100 years ago. In addition to supporting slavery, these guys were essentially traitors to the United States.

Traitors - this country was built by "traitors" - was Washington a traitor, or anyone in the revolutionary war a traitor? The demographics don't really matter - country against country, state against state. The confederate south were not traitors, they stood up for state's rights, representation with taxation, etc...., yes slavery was wrong, we all know that now, it was the norm then and some of the offensive statements as well. Indians and Asians excel in our western culture, and most folks in India live in abject poverty - worse than the US, yet they excel, owning business, large percentage of doctors, and so on. Unfortunately our black counterparts rarely contribute anything to society other than sports achievement and an uncanny way to burn buildings and run down the street somehow balancing two 65" TVs, one under each arm. Renaming Tillman is a good thing, don't agree with renaming the honors college but neither of these are the real issue. If any of you moron's think this solves the problem, think again - this crap is just starting. There is already a movement to remove Washington, Jefferson and others from history. Sad.

Why does it matter, we were a part of England - under their rule. Didn't we all have iPhones and social media to track our progress?
