Can you currently walk around the campus?

Live in Greenville, but in an effort to get out of the house my family of 3 wants to drive down to Clemson this Saturday to walk around the campus and downtown.

Can you walk around the campus while "social distancing" or will we be asked to leave?

I can go to Walmart or Costco to buy shoes

But I can't go to the local shoe store because it is not safe

It’s plenty safe if you wear steel toe boots, ??

But I can’t tell if they are regular citizens or jack-booted SS thugs there to arrest you.

Hopefully after all this insanity is over those who chose to close public parks and beaches will never have that power again.

You think there is anyway to get that UV light inside people to kill the Covid virus? Just spitballin’ here but that would be great.

A healthy immune system is the only thing you need to kill a virus.

And you've been a virus scientist/doctor .......

I was there weekend before last getting some stuff from daughter’s apartment. I just drove through downtown, but there were some people walking around. Most of the stores were closed but that was prior to the reopening and has probably changed by now. There were also a fair number of people out on Bowman. They weren’t in big groups and were pretty spread out. In any case there didn’t appear to be anyone running people off. Even up by 12 Mi Rec Area, they had that entrance officially taped off but people were still parking on the road and walking through the woods to the lake. Nobody appeared to be enforcing that either.

yes you can!! I walk through campus almost daily and there are many walking/running through the campus. In fact, the area by The Hill and The Rock are almost always crowded. Even saw H Renfrow there the other day. So come on down and enjoy your stroll through campus!!

Yes. Went there 2 weeks ago with my son, who will be a freshman this year. We just parked on College Ave. and walked all over campus. I showed him where his classes would be, his dorm, eating, library, sports complexes, practice facilities, walked the ####, bars, east bank beach, etc.
And then we ate at Moe's downtown on the way back to our car. We had a great day.

Spud --- I would think all the fishing you do is the best therapy in the world. I had about 8 weeks of 3 times per week on my left shoulder. My insurance paid for it and I still have my shoulder.

Not sure...but I heard you can walk around the USC campus. Just be careful...if you spend more than 30 minutes walking around, someone will attempt to hand you a degree.

I live here and walk around campus all the time. You can certainly walk around campus and town. On Saturday a number of the downtown merchants would love to see you.

I can.
