Wilkie hitting into the DP was a killer. Hall not executing the bunt was a killer. Not hitting the cutoff man was a killer.

Hope we can do what it takes to win---execute and start playing smarter.

Yeah deroberts already got on me about the other post on ridgeland about jacks curse.

The top five teams in the rankings are Vanderbilt, Florida , Arkansas, Arizona State and USC. And yes usc is the coots. This was 2017 recruiting rankings. We were 15. 15 is good but it’s not jacks coaches who battle every year in top 5 classes...

Hoping Meredith can bring that aspect to the team today. Wilkies double play hurt but Wilkie has to swing

Umm, they all need to swing. Too bad for Wilkie and no power. His center flyout had a hr swing written all over it. He served him one up . Too bad he couldn’t have hit it down the line it may have gotten out.

It sucks, but when we get guys on we almost have to play for a big inning. Even when we score runs, it's in bulk spread across one or two innings.

but we can't with Wilkie. We just have to hope for the best. If we're bunting anyone battign 3-5, then we're screwed. They've gotta hit the ball or it won't matter what buttons we try to press. Obviously once we hit the 7th inning all bets are off with that and we just do what has to be done. But up through the 6th inning I like to stay aggressive.
