Clemson would be their first choice, but I don't think that will happen. Personally, I would be ok with moving to the SUC. More money, better rivalries, better venues, more money, etc.

Couldn't the coots veto us?

I don't think the SUC would give a hoot about what the Gamecocks think. They would do anything to get us on board.

If the other 13 teams could vote to ouster the Gamecocks and accept the Tigers the vote would probably be 100% for the Tigers.

I have no doubt . Except UGA maybe , Joe . They love only losing to SCAR every once in a while , and they'd be trading getting a rivalry with a dominant team of the modern era for one with a historical laughing stock still mired in that same ignominy .

Don’t know about that Joe....everyone of the SEC schools love to play the coots because that is almost a guaranteed W in the win column.... on the other hand Clemson has pretty much owned the SEC for at least 5 years now (just ask bad boy Bama) and none of them are chomping at the bid to get a big L in the loss column.....Go Tigers!!!!!

Coots, Dawgs, and Gators have a pact to block Clemson, GT, and FSU from ever being invited to join the SEC. GT probably wouldn't be invited anyway since they burned that bridge long ago.
