Can Clemson win a FB Natty when recruiting only a 10th ranked class..

While Bama is on their millionth straight #1 ranked class, and then you have those other big boys with highly ranked classes..like OHst, Mich., FSU, etc.
And even the Coots were ranked #17!
I'm really worried, and hope DaBO & his Dog are worried, stiff.

This is what a healthy program looks like when you are simply reloading and not in the process of rebuilding. Places like Bama, OSU, FSU are like puppy mills. They are all about chewing through bodies until one sticks. They don't invest in the person first. If you recruit talent that is more about doing things the right way (commitment, hard work, friendship, coachable/willing to learn, team before self), you don't have to recruit the masses as a safety net when some don't pan out.
It is simple, just don't recruit those who won't pan out. Sure, every once in a while you will get a Bellamy or Chad Kelly, but those are rare situations that you are willing to incur because the vast majority are such dang good people!

Dabo is certainly doing it the right way. Airlines overbook which is fine but Clemson develops and graduates their players. Above all they are part of the Clemson family. Is there anyone a better fit for a job than Dabo? i can't think of one.

Every school has 85 scholarships. Who is in better shape; a school with 14 true freshmmen or a school with 25 true freshmen? DUH!!!

Which do you think is better 15 freshman with 70 upperclassmen or 25 freshman with 60 upperclassmen (with similar overall talent level, starting with).

The level of stupid in some of these posts is amazing. This is either a coot troll, a 12 year old on Daddy's tnet, or a complete moron.
We had 14 spots available. We filled those 14 spots with the 4th best class in average stars per player. We signed the #1 QB and #2 receiver in the nation in this class. The rankings that are based on the number of signees do not matter.

I look at it that we added three 5* and 11 other good players to 71 players that return from a national title team.
I dont see a thing wrong with that.
