That's good for Allbarn because they're probably "tired" from their grueling SEC Schedule and the rain delay will give them a chance to recuperate. It just means moar.

I mean, 4 of the 8 teams in the CWS are from the SEC. Kind of weird to trash the conference here. I get it for football, but for baseball you really do have to play your way into the CWS.

well sort of - believe they hosted 6 of the 16 Regionals

and had 4 of the top 8 seeds


they are a deep baseball league with some really good teams at the top but they are probably not quite to the level the NCAA handed out seeds- they probably could have found some other teams to host

I read a response by a TNetter a few days back when a co worker of his asked him whether he knew how many SEC Teams were going to the College World Series and he replied back something like it's great for the SEC since they are no longer relevant in football. My sentiments exactly.

I wish I could find the original post. It was classic.
