Hate it for Tim Corbin but that was ugly. They have ho estly only played one great inning in 2 games ...the 3rd last night obviously won them game 1 . UVA has got some outstanding pitching. If they hit the ball , they win (See tonight ).

EPIC proportions by a VERY good starting pitcher on Monday night, Vandy wouldve never been in that game. UVA was better. They almost came back from a 9-2 defict to win. Last night was just more of the same from UVA with a 7-2 win. I expect the same tonite.

UVA is a much better team than Vandy

they will roll in game 3. They've had one bad pitching inning in two games and it cost them game 1. They still almost rallied from being down 9-2 to win game 1. Since giving up 9 runs in the 3rd inning of game 1 they have outscored the doors 13 to 2. They have better talent and have a better coach. UVA by 4 runs in game 3.

To tell ESPN to get stuffed? It can't possibly be just the non-SEC Southeast that's tired of them being the mouthpiece of the conference in every way.

My sons, during their 2013 NCAA (I mean, SEC) football signing day coverage, swore off ESPN.
If there's a game on that we want to see, we'll watch it. But no SportsCenter, general sports (I mean, SEC) coverage, nothing.
It's been a good thing in our household - my sons are actually much more tuned in to what's going on in the world around us.

UVA has dominated the first two games save one inning

The important stat is 7th straight sec team in the championship. I'd have to look, but are they 2-5? Although I seem to recall the tar holes may have lost a series in there, and more happy I could not be.

UNC played for the Championship in 2006 and 2007

Miami has played in six Championship games (74, 82, 85, 96, 99, and 01) winning four of them. Of course, that was before their ACC affiliation. FSU has played in three Championship games (70, 86, and 99)
Georgia Tech lost to Oklahoma in 1994.
Wake Forest played in two Championship games (49 and 55). They won the National Championship in 1955.

This is the 8th straight year an SEC team has played in the championship series from what I saw. They are 3-4 in the previous 7, & likely about to be 3-5, IMO, from what's happened in the first two games.
