CU Does Well In ESPN's Bowl Mania Show

ESPN's annual Capital One Bowl Mania show had CU heavy favorites against N.Dame & Bama heavily favored to beat OKLA - then split 2 to 2 in a CU/Bama Natty.

Panelist pickers were: Sam Acho; Dan Orlovsky; Greg McElroy & host, Chris Cotter.

It's a big promo show to get people revved to watch a bunch of ESPN bowls & enter a pickem contest worth $1-million if you pick all games & the Natty winner. You can pick the winners outright or pick all winners by "confidence points" - 40 points for your most confident winner down to 1 point for your least confident pick. Either way, your odds are probably about 900-million to 1 - but why not try?

Cotter (host) only picks the Natty winner, the other 3 pick them all by "confidence points." McElroy picked CU over the Irish w/37 confidence points. Orlovsky picked CU w/36 conf.points. Acho picked CU w/23 conf.points. All were about as confident about Bama over OKLA.

In the Natty, it was picked even - 2 guys picked CU to win it all & 2 picked Bama - just to continue the hype.

I pick every year & do a horrible job, but for a shot at $1-mil - might as well.
